What is the PSTN switch-off?+
The PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) is the UK's old analogue phone network. It is due to be switched off on 31 January 2027, and anything still relying on it - phone lines, and broadband or devices that run over a traditional phone line - needs to move to a modern, internet-based alternative before then.
Is it just about phones?+
No. Alarms, card payment machines, lift emergency lines, door entry systems and fax machines often use a phone line too, and they are the things most likely to be forgotten until they stop working.
Can you handle the move for us?+
Yes. We provide modern phone systems and business connectivity, so we can plan the move for your lines and broadband together, and help you work through anything else plugged into a phone socket.
